Odoo Developer (3–4 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

Crystal Data Software Services is looking for an experienced and proactive Odoo Developer to join our software development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing enterprise-grade business applications across both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to build custom modules, integrate third-party APIs, and optimize ERP performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules for both Community and Enterprise editions based on business requirements.

  • Customize standard Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, MRP, etc.).

  • Develop and optimize backend functionality in Python and customize frontend UI using XML, QWeb reports, JavaScript, and OWL framework.

  • Perform data migration, database optimization (PostgreSQL), and server management/deployment for Odoo instances.

  • Build and maintain REST APIs / web services to integrate Odoo with third-party software, payment gateways, and external ERP systems.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bug fixes and performance bottlenecks in existing Odoo deployments.

  • Lead module testing, deployment, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 4 Years of dedicated hands-on experience in Odoo module development and customization.

  • Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, XML, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS, and QWeb reporting.

  • Odoo Framework: Extensive experience working with Odoo ORM, custom module creation, workflows, access security rules, and inheritance mechanisms in both Community and Enterprise platforms.

  • Integrations: Experience with REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, and third-party integrations.

  • Environment & Tools: Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu server setup, Git version control, Docker, and PostgreSQL query execution.

  • Desirable: Knowledge of upgrading Odoo versions, migration tools, and experience with Odoo Online / Odoo.sh environments.
